Ruslan Kazakbaev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Turkey, and Manas Amanbaev, Representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic in Turkey, met in Ankara with Ali Fidan, Head of the Main Security Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Turkey. According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the parties discussed bilateral cooperation in the areas of security, protecting citizens' rights, and further cooperation between law enforcement agencies, 24.kg reports.

Ruslan Kazakbaev congratulated Ali Fidan on his appointment as Head of the Main Security Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkey. Particular attention was paid to personnel training during the talks. The parties confirmed their readiness to continue training Kyrgyz Ministry of Internal Affairs employees in Turkey and to expand joint educational programs to combat cybercrime, extremism, drug trafficking, and maintain public order.

The agreements reached reflect a steady trend toward deepening Kyrgyz-Turkish cooperation in the security sector. Against the backdrop of growing transnational threats, including cybercrime, organized crime, and drug trafficking, the exchange of professional experience and joint training of specialists are becoming important elements in enhancing the effectiveness of law enforcement agencies.

For Kyrgyzstan, cooperation with Turkey is of practical importance due to the opportunity to leverage the experience of one of the most developed police systems in the region, implement modern training methods, and improve operational response mechanisms. Expanding educational programs also fosters long-term institutional ties between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries and creates the basis for closer coordination in the fight against crime that poses a threat to both national and regional security.
