At the beginning of the meeting, the head of the delegation conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from Chinese President Xi Jinping. It was emphasized that relations between Uzbekistan and China have reached an unprecedented level in recent years, achieving a comprehensive strategic partnership in a new era, based on trust, mutual support, and sustained political dialogue.

During the talks, the parties discussed in detail the prospects for further expansion of Uzbek-Chinese cooperation, focusing on strengthening interregional ties, developing trade and economic interaction, and intensifying practical cooperation with Hong Kong as an important financial and investment hub in the region.

It was noted that the agreements reached at the highest level are being consistently implemented. Furthermore, Uzbekistan's trading house opened in Hong Kong, designed to expand export and investment opportunities.

The potential for further expansion of humanitarian, tourism, and business exchanges, as well as simplification of travel conditions for citizens, was emphasized.

Following the talks, an agreement was reached to introduce a mutual visa-free regime for up to 30 days for citizens of the two countries, which is expected to facilitate the growth of business activity, tourism flows, and the strengthening of interstate ties.
