Uzbekistan’s national football team has been ranked the most valuable in Asia, according to Asiaplus.tj, citing data from Transfermarkt.

Following a strong performance in the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Uzbekistan secured a historic spot in the tournament, which will be held in the United States and Canada, by finishing second in its group.

Transfermarkt’s latest ranking of Asian national teams by total market value includes 50 teams, but the biggest surprise is Uzbekistan taking the top spot.

According to the platform, Uzbekistan’s squad is valued at €69.58 million, the highest in Asia. The surge is attributed to transfers of Uzbek players to European leagues and their growing presence in the UAE and Saudi Arabian championships.

The United Arab Emirates ranks second with €50.90 million, while Australia is third at €36.13 million.
