President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev approved a new system for training management personnel, which provides for the reorganization of existing institutions into a single educational cluster, the press service of the President of Uzbekistan reports.

The existing El-Yurt Umidi Foundation and the Academy of Public Administration will be transformed into the Fund for the Training of Prospective Personnel and the Academy of Public Policy under the President of Uzbekistan. These changes are aimed at creating a single educational cluster that meets international standards.

The new system provides special conditions for talented youth: automatic provision of scholarships to applicants to the top 100 world universities, compensation for living expenses for students of universities from the top 300, as well as special programs for graduates of Presidential schools.

A system of targeted internships of up to six months in priority sectors, including energy, urban studies, transport and public administration, is being introduced for civil servants. Educational programs are being developed taking into account the recommendations of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.

As part of the reform, a Council of Parents of Scholarship Holders is being created to support students abroad, as well as four new specialized centers, including the Center for Applied Research on Public Administration Problems.

Mirziyoyev instructed to accelerate the implementation of the new system, paying special attention to finding talented young people and attracting international experts. These measures are aimed at creating a professional personnel reserve capable of effectively implementing the country's strategic development objectives.
