The Uzpromstroymaterialy Association of Uzbekistan has released its export analysis for Uzbekistan’s construction materials sector covering January–June 2025. According to Jamshid Shermetov, head of the Association’s information service, the industry exported goods worth $428.4 million during the first six months of the year, UzDaily.uz reports.
The main export destinations included Russia ($107 million), with shipments of ceramic and metal products, stoneware, PVC profiles, pipes, and fittings; Kazakhstan ($94.7 million), primarily dry construction mixes, gypsum board, PVC profiles, and metal goods; Kyrgyzstan ($64.4 million); Tajikistan ($53.7 million); Azerbaijan ($9.7 million); and Turkmenistan ($9.3 million).
To strengthen export potential, Uzbekistan has established trade houses, showrooms, and warehouses in several foreign cities, including Baku, Dushanbe, Lahore, Kabul, Mazar-i-Sharif, Jalal-Abad, Ulaanbaatar, and Aktau. These locations now display over 50 types of high value-added Uzbek construction materials.
Uzbek companies have also actively promoted their products at international business forums and exhibitions, including INNOPROM Central Asia 2025 in Tashkent, the Russia–Islamic World: Kazan 2025 forum, Made in Uzbekistan exhibitions in Tbilisi and Ulaanbaatar, and the International Exhibition of Turkic States in Baku.
Additionally, global consulting firm Ernst & Young has been engaged to conduct marketing research across both domestic and international markets. Based on global experience, the analysis will cover North America, Russia and the Caucasus, the Middle East, North Africa, Central Asia, and Europe, with the aim of identifying promising new markets and opportunities to diversify Uzbekistan’s export strategy.
