Energy cooperation also remains an important element of the bilateral agenda. Azerbaijan, with its significant hydrocarbon resources, is a strategic partner for Uzbekistan in energy balance diversification and technology exchange. Joint projects in green energy have been identified as a promising area, potentially becoming a new driver of cooperation in the medium term.
In addition, contacts are actively developing in the petrochemical, textile, and agricultural processing industries. In recent years, business forums have been held with the participation of business circles from both countries, resulting in the signing of a number of cooperation and investment agreements.
Analysts note that the current phase of Uzbek-Azerbaijani relations is characterized by a transition from primarily trade exchanges to industrial integration. The strengthening role of joint ventures, expanded investment cooperation, and the development of transport corridors form the foundation for a long-term strategic partnership.
