Jalpa Ratna, the UNICEF Representative in Turkmenistan, met with Minister of Education J. Gurbangeldyev on February 17 to discuss the strategic roadmap for bilateral cooperation over the next five years. The parties reviewed the status of ongoing and upcoming initiatives, including:

  • Primary Education Readiness: The implementation of a pilot preparatory program currently active in 55 schools nationwide.
  • "Green School" Program: Continuing the successful execution of environmental education projects to foster climate awareness among youth.
  • Technical Coordination: Both sides confirmed their readiness for close coordination across all stages of these joint initiatives.
