A meeting was held in Ashgabat between Uzbek Ambassador Ravshanbek Alimov and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Guvanch Agajanov.
The parties discussed current issues related to the further development of bilateral cooperation in the fuel and energy sector. Particular attention was paid to expanding interaction and implementing joint projects, Oritnt.tm reports.
It was noted that, thanks to the consistent political will and efforts of the two leaders, Uzbek-Turkmen relations have reached a qualitatively new level in recent years. Cooperation between the countries is developing dynamically across a wide range of areas.
It was emphasized that interaction in the fuel and energy sector continues to strengthen, with concrete initiatives and practical results.
During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the development of cooperation in the oil and gas industry, including prospects for deepening partnerships and expanding joint activities.
