Turkmen-Turkish Business Forum Held in Turkey

The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Turkey held a business forum at the building of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of the city of Afyonkarahisar on the topic “Turkmenistan and Turkey: Current Directions of Economic Cooperation,” reports the portal “Turkmenistan: The Golden Age.”

The aim of the forum was to acquaint representatives of the Turkish business community with Turkmenistan’s investment potential. More than 100 leaders of Turkish companies and non-governmental sector organizations participated in the event.

“During the business forum, participants exchanged views on promising areas for attracting Turkish investments, such as the oil and gas chemical industry, agro-industrial complex, transport and logistics, telecommunications, and information technologies,” the message said.

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Turkey, Mekan Ishangulyev, noted that Turkmenistan demonstrates a responsible and comprehensive approach to expanding partnerships within the international trade system based on the principles of mutual respect, equality, and trust.

As part of the forum, Ishangulyev also held meetings with the regional leadership, during which issues of expanding cooperation in the trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian, and educational spheres were discussed.
