The Tajik delegation was led by representatives of the country's Ministry of Finance. SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce and other SEC officials participated in the negotiations on the American side.

Particular attention was paid to the development of government and corporate bonds, the digitalization of market infrastructure, the improvement of clearing and settlement systems, and the implementation of risk-based oversight.

Modern financing instruments, including green and ESG bonds, which could become an additional source of investment for the country's economy, were also discussed.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness for further practical cooperation, including technical support, the exchange of experience, and the preparation of a joint roadmap for the development of Tajikistan's capital market.

The negotiations took place as part of an international forum on securities market development, with the participation of regulators from around the world.
