The parties discussed strategic areas of cooperation in high technology, the transfer of best practices, and attracting direct investment into the country's technology sector. Particular emphasis was placed on supporting startup initiatives and developing digital economy infrastructure.
The relevant agency emphasized that partnerships with international investors will create the foundation for launching joint high-tech projects and expanding venture capital in the country.
The dialogue with Beyond Investments Group at TAJ-TECH 2026 is a practical step in implementing Tajikistan's National Digitalization Strategy, marking a transition from the simple implementation of IT solutions to the development of a full-fledged venture capital market.
The main barrier to the country's IT sector remains a lack of early-stage funding, and attracting international players opens Tajik startups to external capital and global expertise.
Furthermore, the development of digital infrastructure allows Dushanbe to gradually diversify its economy, reducing its dependence on traditional sectors and labor exports by creating high-tech jobs within the country.
