Tajikistan and Uzbekistan Agree on Youth Projects

A meeting of representatives of youth organizations from Tajikistan and Uzbekistan was held in Tashkent to discuss the development of bilateral cooperation and the implementation of joint initiatives. The event, organized during the visit of Tajik President Emomali Rahmon to Uzbekistan, culminated in the signing of several agreements, Avesta.tj reports.

The main goal of the forum was to strengthen the partnership between the youth of the two countries and expand areas of cooperation. Representatives of relevant government agencies, public associations, innovation platforms, as well as delegations from youth organizations and the business community, participated in the discussions.

The event program included thematic sessions, startup presentations, and a discussion of social initiatives. Participants exchanged experiences, presented their own projects, and held a series of business talks.

Following the forum, the parties agreed to launch joint projects aimed at developing youth potential, implementing innovative solutions, and strengthening humanitarian ties.

The delegates also enjoyed a cultural program and a visit to modern technology centers, allowing them to become familiar with the infrastructure and opportunities available to young people in Uzbekistan.
