DUSHANBE — Tajikistan's Minister of Energy and Water Resources, Daler Juma, held a videoconference with Melissa Brown, a representative of the U.S. Energy Association, Avesta.tj reports.
The parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in the energy sector. The focus was on the development of renewable energy sources, attracting investment, and implementing modern technologies.
The talks also addressed key projects, including the construction of the Rogun Hydroelectric Power Plant, the implementation of the CASA-1000 initiative, solar energy development, and glacier conservation. The use of artificial intelligence technologies in the industry was also discussed.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to expand cooperation and implement joint projects aimed at developing the energy sector and increasing Tajikistan's export potential.
