President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the Minister of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye, Ömer Bolat. The meeting took place on the eve of the opening of a large-scale exhibition of Turkish export goods in the Turkmen capital, serving as the day's key political event, Orient.tm reports.

During the audience, the Head of State outlined a new vector for the partnership: Turkmenistan is transitioning from a model of simple procurement to deep technological integration.

Core priorities identified by the President include:

  • Technology Transfer: Implementing the latest scientific achievements into national production.
  • Industrial Development: Supporting Turkish initiatives focused on creating high-tech manufacturing capacities.
  • Investment Climate: A readiness to consider specific proposals from Turkish businesses to modernize key sectors of the economy.

The Turkish exhibition launched in Ashgabat is viewed not merely as a display of goods, but as a venue for the "practical fulfillment" of previously reached agreements.

Following the negotiations, experts predict the signing of a series of new agreements and contracts. Strengthening ties between the business communities of both nations aims to further increase mutual trade turnover, which is expected to reach new qualitative milestones in 2026.

"We are ready to support initiatives aimed at the innovative development of our industry," emphasized Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
