According to the results of the first two months of 2025, the volume of exports from Kyrgyzstan to Afghanistan amounted to 1.09 billion soms ($12.5 million), while imports from Afghanistan totaled only 44.2 million soms ($506,000). As a result, the trade balance favored Kyrgyzstan, reports Akchabar.kg.

The largest share of exports consisted of petroleum products - nearly 25 million liters of gasoline, worth over 1 billion soms. Significant exports also included dried legumes (1,970 tons), tires, nuts, and horses - 39 head.

In the structure of imports from Afghanistan, aluminum products (mainly kitchenware), trailers, paper packaging, and plant products predominated. The volume of imported goods was negligible compared to exports.
