The Kyrgyz-German business forum "Day of the German Economy in Kyrgyzstan" was held in Cholpon-Ata, marking the conclusion of the "Days of Kyrgyzstan and Germany Economy" event series, the Kyrgyz Cabinet of Ministers' press service reported.
Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev highlighted Kyrgyzstan’s 11.5% GDP growth in January–July 2025, positioning the country as a reliable investment partner. He emphasized key areas for cooperation: agriculture, hydropower and renewable energy, rare earth metals mining, and tourism.
Kasymaliev noted that over 23,000 tourists from Germany visited Kyrgyzstan in 2024, with more than 10,000 arriving in the first half of 2025. The sides discussed prospects for joint projects in eco-tourism and hotel infrastructure.
The Prime Minister expressed Kyrgyzstan’s readiness for strategic partnership with Germany based on trust and mutual respect.
