Jordanian Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan is set to visit Astana, building on President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s trip to Amman earlier this year. The visit underscores growing momentum in bilateral relations, with both sides advancing joint projects in energy, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, digitalization, and transport, reports astanatimes.com.

A key highlight is the planned launch of direct flights between Astana and Amman, scheduled to begin in June 2026 with twice-weekly service. The legal framework is complete, and Jordan will subsidize the route initially to boost tourism and business connectivity.

The Kazakhstan–Jordan Business Forum, gathering around 300 entrepreneurs, will drive new trade and investment deals. Agreements include Kazakh wheat exports to Jordan, a joint poultry reproduction facility, and pharmaceutical partnerships, including a planned deal between Sana Pharma and Inkar Group.

In agriculture and veterinary sectors, KazbioPharm and Jordan’s DadVet have agreed on vaccine exports, while digital cooperation is expanding through Astana Hub and King Hussein Business Park.

In education, Astana IT University now hosts Jordanian students, marking the start of academic collaboration. On energy, Kazakhstan and Jordan are deepening cooperation in nuclear technology for peaceful use.

The talks will also cover regional security and coordination in international forums, reinforcing a strategic partnership poised for long-term growth.
