Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has awarded Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov the Order of "Altyn Qyran" (Golden Eagle), the highest state honor of Kazakhstan. The award was presented during President Tokayev’s official visit to Kyrgyzstan, Kazinform reports.
At the ceremony, President Tokayev praised Japarov as a true leader and experienced statesman guiding the Kyrgyz people toward progress.
“We highly value your tireless efforts toward the prosperity of Kyrgyzstan. Thanks to your balanced policies, the country has entered a new stage of development. The Kyrgyz economy is demonstrating high growth rates. Under your leadership, new large-scale projects are being implemented across various sectors. Major transformations are underway in social services, science, and education. All of this will undoubtedly strengthen Kyrgyzstan’s economy and enhance its international standing. Your far-sighted actions have contributed to peace and stability in the region. I am confident that under your wise leadership, the Kyrgyz people will achieve even greater heights,” said Tokayev.
He emphasized that Kazakhstan sincerely celebrates Kyrgyzstan’s achievements.
“The brotherly peoples of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan have long been united by common fate, history, and traditions. We share similar languages, mentalities, and ways of life. Today, our countries enjoy relations based on mutual trust and respect. Our alliance is growing stronger, and strategic partnership is developing dynamically, to which you have made an invaluable contribution. Thanks to our joint efforts, Kazakh-Kyrgyz cooperation has gained new momentum. New initiatives aimed at deepening strategic partnership have been launched. Important initiatives that serve the interests of both nations reflect genuine brotherhood and further strengthen our friendship. In today’s unstable times, unity is especially important—our unbreakable solidarity is our priceless treasure. The renowned Kyrgyz poet Toktogul Satylganov once said: ‘The mark of a good person is one who worries for the well-being of their nation.’ In Kazakhstan, we know well that you work tirelessly for the Kyrgyz people, serve them faithfully, and make a significant contribution to strengthening friendship between our nations. Therefore, I have decided to award you the highest state honor of the Republic of Kazakhstan—the Order of ‘Altyn Qyran.’ This award is a sign of special respect and sincere gratitude from Kazakhstan to you and the entire Kyrgyz people,” concluded President Tokayev.
President Japarov expressed his gratitude to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the entire Kazakh people for bestowing the highest honor, emphasizing that he accepts it as a mark of deep respect for the Kyrgyz nation.
He noted that the gesture reflects the high level of strategic partnership and alliance between the two countries, expressing confidence that their time-tested cooperation will continue to grow stronger.
President Tokayev is currently on an official visit to Kyrgyzstan. Earlier, he and President Japarov participated in the meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
