TURKESTAN - The presidents of the United Territory Territories (UTC) countries participated in a capsule-laying ceremony for the future Center for Turkic Civilization in Turkestan as part of the informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States, 24.kg reports.
The event was attended by Ilham Aliyev, Sadyr Japarov, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The new center is being created as a cultural and historical platform for the study and popularization of the heritage of the Turkic peoples. The project includes the use of modern digital and interactive technologies to present the history, culture, and traditions of the countries of the Turkic world.
Following the ceremony, summit participants were presented with a concept for developing digital cooperation and the AI economy within the organization. Kazakhstan showcased initiatives in artificial intelligence, satellite communications, digital infrastructure, and computing technologies.
The leaders also discussed further cooperation in innovation, technology exchange, and the joint digital transformation of the region's states.
