Turkmenistan continues to develop the digital economy and implement modern technologies in public administration and various sectors.

A key focus is expanding the use of digital solutions and improving the technological infrastructure, Orient.tm reports.

The Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan is systematically working to develop the digital economy, implement e-government, and expand and improve the efficiency of electronic services. In accordance with a recent decision by the head of state, the operating procedures for the Interdepartmental Electronic Data Exchange System have been approved. This system provides for the unification of government agencies' databases into a single digital space, which will accelerate data exchange between agencies and improve information security.

The project involves the gradual integration of government agencies and their digital services using modern technological solutions and incorporating international experience.

The implementation of the electronic document management system is expected to expedite administrative procedures, improve the quality of services, and expand the capabilities of the e.gov.tm government services portal.

Furthermore, training sessions on the platform, information security, and network technologies are being held for specialists involved in the project.

The measures being implemented are aimed at further developing digital infrastructure and increasing the accessibility of public services for the public.
