China to help Kyrgyzstan build Bedel automobile checkpoint

Kyrgyz Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sydykov signed several key documents in Tianjin, China, aimed at strengthening Kyrgyz-Chinese cooperation. The signing took place during the SCO Summit, following the meeting between Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov and Chinese President Xi Jinping, Akchabar.kg reports.

The agreements include a grant aid package, an arrangement to conduct a feasibility study for the construction and equipping of the Bedel automobile checkpoint, and a memorandum of understanding between Kyrgyzstandart and China’s State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR).

These documents are expected to expand trade and economic ties, modernize transport infrastructure, and enhance collaboration in standardization and technical regulation.
